Tax Credit Update 2015: Update from Energy Trust of Oregon and Oregon Dept. of Energy
Get updates on RETC tax credits for direct vent gas fireplaces, wood and pellet stoves; and ETO rebates for gas stoves and fireplaces.
Oregon Department of Energy added direct vent gas fireplaces to the program starting January 1, 20-15. Learn about the program as well as updates to tax credit program for wood and pellet stoves. Learn what the tax credit covers and how to calculate the tax credit. Energy Trust of Oregon will provide an update on their programs as well.
Also, Harvey Gail, OHPBA's lobbyist will be there to describe other regulatory developments.
This meeting is for all of you who sell hearth products in OR and in SW Washington. The timing of the meeting allows you to attend, but then to get back to the store in time to open. We expect to have every store that wants to increase hearth sales to attend! We'll make sure there is room for you.

There are no excuses for not attending. If don't live in the Portland area, find a computer with a webcam, and join us on Skype. Haven't used Skype? We'll teach you how, and we'll practice a bit before the meeting day. (The additional benefit is that you will start Skyping all your friends and relatives and maybe even your customers!) If you are joining us on Skype, bring your breakfast to the computer; we don't want to eat alone! If you have an I-phone, I-Pad or Mac, Facetime also works and is easier than Skype.
